RULE 1 : Some Nouns Become Plural By Adding " s " With It's Base Form

RULE 2 : Compound nouns take ' s 'in plural form

RULE 3 : Some nouns ending with the letters 'o' 's' 'x' 'sh'and 'ch' will take 'es' to make the plural forms

RULE 4 : Words ending in 'y' form the plural form by replacing the 'y' and adding 'ies' at that place.

RULE 5 : Words Ending In ' um ' Will Take ' a ' by replacing it
வார்த்தையின் இறுதியில் ' um ' என்று முடிந்தால், அதனை நீக்கிவிட்டு அவ்விடத்தில் ' a ' என்று சேர்த்து எழுதவேண்டும்.

RULE 6: Words Ending With ' a ' at the end will take ' e ' at the end and to form the plural form.

RULE 7 : Words Ending with ' us ' in singular will take ' i ' and replace it in plural form.

RULE 8 : Words English With ' is ' in the singular form will be changed into ' es ' in the plural form

RULE 9 : Words Ending With ' f ' or ' Fe ' at the singular form will change into ' ves ' by replacing the ' f ' or ' Fe ' in the plural form.
ஒருமையிலான வார்த்தை ' f ' அல்லது ' fe ' என்ற எழுத்துக்களுடன் இறுதியில் முடியும்போது அவற்றை பன்மைக்கு மாற்றும்போது ' f ' அல்லது ' fe ' என்ற எழுத்துக்களை நீக்கிவிட்டு ' ves ' சேர்த்து எழுத வேண்டும்.

RULE 10 : Some words ending with ' o ' in singular forms will take ' s ' at the end to make a plural form. ( Note : already we saw that words ending with 'o' in the singular would take 'es' in the plural- but this type is exceptional from that)
